Are my files uploaded?

No. Rotate PDF Pages renders thumbnails locally with pdfjs-dist and rewrites page rotation flags with pdf-lib in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

How does the rotation actually work?

PDF pages have a built-in /Rotate metadata flag. We update that flag rather than re-rendering the page contents. The result is a tiny, lossless edit — quality and file size are essentially unchanged.

Why is my scanner producing sideways pages?

Many sheet-fed scanners save pages with the long edge first regardless of how the original page was oriented. Rotate all 90° (or 180°) usually fixes the entire batch in one shot.

Can I rotate just a single page?

Yes. Click any individual thumbnail to rotate just that page. The badge in the corner of the thumbnail shows the rotation that will be saved.

Will rotation change my text or images?

No. The page contents are untouched. Only the rotation flag changes, so PDF readers display each page rotated. Text remains selectable and searchable.

Does Rotate PDF work on mobile?

Yes — the tool runs in any modern mobile browser. Tap a thumbnail to rotate it. For very long PDFs, rendering thumbnails on mobile may take a moment.

Is there a file size limit?

There is no server-imposed limit because nothing is uploaded. The only practical limit is your device's available memory. Most laptops handle multi-hundred-page PDFs comfortably; very large scans may render thumbnails more slowly.
