No. Extract PDF Pages runs entirely in your browser. Thumbnails are rendered with pdfjs-dist locally and the new PDF is built with pdf-lib. Nothing is uploaded.

What's the difference between extract and split?

Extract Pages produces one PDF containing exactly the pages you pick. Split PDF produces multiple PDFs based on page ranges or chunks. Use Extract when you only want a few pages out; use Split when you need to break a file into several pieces.

How do I write a page range?

Use commas to separate ranges and dashes for inclusive ranges. For example, 1-3, 5, 7-9 selects pages 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, and 9. Click Apply range to mirror that selection in the thumbnail grid.

Can I extract non-consecutive pages?

Yes. Click any combination of pages — they don't have to be next to each other. The output PDF will contain them in ascending order.

Will extraction change quality?

No. Pages are copied losslessly from the original PDF. Fonts, vectors, and images are preserved exactly.

How big a PDF can I open?

Without an upload step, file size is limited only by your device's RAM. Most laptops handle PDFs up to several hundred megabytes comfortably.
